What Do You Mean By Tenses.

A tense is a type of verb that indicates the time and completion or incompletion of a task. Actually it is a way to describe the  time and the tasks are performed within this time. At a time one tense can be describe only one time.There are three types of times ,such as,Present, past, future etc.There are many types of tenses such as,

  1. Present indefinite.
  2. Present continuous .
  3. Present perfect.
  4. Past indefinite.
  5. Past continuous.
  6. Past perfect.
  7. Future indefinite.
  8. Future continuous.

Types Of Clauses in Grammar.

A clause has some simmilarities as the phrase that is it is the combination of relative words but a clause has subject and verb and it does not have subject,but the phrase does not have subject and object.The clause is divided into two catagaries such as,

  1. Dependent clause.
  2. Independent clause.
  3. Noun clause.
  4. Adverb clause.
  5. Relative clause.
  • Noun clause.
The noun clause works like a noun in a sentence.


  • Adverb clause.
The adverb clause works like adverb in a sentence.


  • Dependent clause.
A clause that does not describe the complete views and emotions and depend on another clause to complete its self.It does not a complete sentence.


  • Independent clause.
A clause that describes it complete views and expression and do not depend upon the other clause. The independent clause is a complete sentence.


  • Relative clause.
A relative clause describes the meanings of clause accordingly and it shows limited meanings of sentence.

How Phrases Are Used In Written Skills.


Phrases is a group of two or more than two words that can  arranged grammaticaly  to describe the meaning in short form, but it is not a complete  sentence it is actually a part of a sentence. It is the shortest and easiest way to express our views and ideas in written skills. As we know that phrase  is incomplete sentence so it do not have subject and object.The phrase is divided into five catagaries. At first the the main keyword of the phrase at which the whole phrase is based on is known as'' head''. So by writing any phrase the head (main keyword) is highlighted .So the catagaries of phrase is as follows;

  1. Noun Phrase.
As we know that noun is the name of any person, place or thing so that the noun phrase is also describe these , such as

Ten cunning foxes in the jungle.
All the toys in my room.

  • Verb phrase.
 As it is described that verb is a word that shows some action so the verb phrase can describe these, such as

Very easiest work.
So sweet.

  • Adverb phrase.
The adverb phrase is used in the place

 of verb phrase.

  • Adjective phrase.
The adjective phrase shows the qualities of any thing.


  • Prepositional phrase.
The prepositional phrase shows the places or circumstances etc.

What Do You Mean By Personification.


We can use personification into two ways. At first we can use personification for describing the personality ,quality etc such as bravery, coureage, and wisdom .Through these qualities we can determined  about the  qualities of him.At second, we can give that qualities of a man to a thing which is not  a human . Personification mostly used in poems to illustrate the meaning.For example we can get some lines from the poem of'' Elaine George'' ;
a fragile winter butterfly
Flutters from the sky
So soft and yet her heart
Is cold and made of ice
But if i warm it
She will melt and die.
