Present Indefinite Tense.


Present indefinite tense is used to express the current tasks,time and casually work that can be done in the present time. It is actually the way to express our views in the present time. For example, sara takes tea. This sentence shows the daily task of sara. that she can takes tea every day and do this casually. Another example is ,Ali does his work. In this example this sentence shows the duty of ali.
Present indefinite tense is divided into three further categories;

  1. Positive tense.
  2. Negative tense.
  3. Interrogative tense.  
Body Of  Sentence
  • Positive Tense.
Subject + verb +Object.
Subject + first form of verb +(s / es) + object.
Examples;-
The horse eats grass.
Sara takes tea.
Ammara sees the elephant.
  • Negative Tense.
Subject + do not / does not + verb first form +object.
Examples;-
The horse does not eat grass.
Sara does not take tea.
Ammara does not see the elephant.
  • Interrogative Tense.
Do / Does + subject + verb first form + object.
Examples;.
Does the horse eat the grass.
Does sara take tea.
Does ammara see the elephant.
